Each year, the All Canadian Wine Championships (ACWC) receive over 1,400 wines from top vineyards across our great nation. Entries include over 700 wines, ciders and meads from Canada’s wine producing regions, most of which are not for sale in Ontario!
After the official judging period is complete, the ACWC and the Rotary Club of Picton hold fundraising events for the remaining unopened bottles provided for the Championships. The remaining bottles are offered in one batch and this final grand slam event is called the Wall of Wine Raffle.
The prize package includes 72 award winning and notable entry wines and a rack to hold them in. The retail value of the wine is $2250.
All proceeds go to support the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation and other local community and youth projects and charities.
